Since opening its first franchise in 2014, Studio Pilates International (SPI) now boasts over 63 studios in 4 countries including Australia, New Zealand, China and The United States, proving the robust business model works across different markets, with 100 Studio Pilates studios expected to be open and operational by the end of the year.
Studio Pilates International was co-founded by husband and wife Jade and Tanya Winter - an ex Olympic swimmer and qualified physiotherapist, who identified a gap in the market for a premium and effective “one-size-fits-all” approach to reformer Pilates. The dynamic duo were quick to fill this gap and pioneered the signature Studio Pilates reformer workout, an intense yet accessible class that provides an unparalleled client experience.
As a turnkey business, Studio Pilates franchisees continue to see tremendous ROI with almost 50% of current franchisees owning more than one studio thanks to the rapid payback period of the initial investment. The 40-minute workout incorporates state-of-the-art audio visual technology to maximize and enhance the workout experience. Each exercise is projected onto television screens around the studio and paired with a fully integrated pre-recorded voiceover explaining each move. The class is set to upbeat music and each studio features hardwood floors, beautifully crafted furniture and the SPI signature chandelier and as such, appeals to clients of all ages and fitness levels.
